A little different than a pug.........a Boston Terrier. I can forward your email to my friend if
you are interested. He needs a home asap with a large yard, 5-6 ft fence, doggie door, and NO FOXTAILS in your yard. We need
to visit your home and yard so he is not going back and forth. BAXTER Baxter is a healthy 3 yr old,
20 pound pure bred Boston Terrier. His birthday is April 26th, 2009 and was surrendered because his young child developed
severe allergies/asthma at a year old. Baxter was adopted at 12 wks from a Boston breeder and has up to date medical
records and background info since birth. He is a VERY
sweet boy who LOVES to snuggle and does not have the typical "bouncing-off-the-walls" Boston personality. He
would rather spend the day sleeping and cuddling in your lap. He would probably be happiest as an only dog or with another
"mellow" doggy companion. He was raised with a larger dog and is gentle and submissive but not as interested
in playing as he is in exploring - loves being outside (with or without his "people," trying to chase
birds out of the yard. Baxter has impeccable manners, is
not at all competitive, good eater and the best (toilet) trained dog I have ever encountered - he has never had even
the slightest hint of an accident. When he wants to go out he does a little dance (sort of like he is marching) in front of
the
front door and is fine on a leash. He is quiet - very rarely barks ; instead if he wants
your attention he will makes a little mewing sound. But he will be happiest where he can be outside often in a yard where
he will be safe and cannot jump the fence. The owner he grew up with is a male - he loves to cuddle with all people and children
and another dog - male and/or female - but would probably enjoy having a man around the house! If you know anyone
who may be interested in this sweet boy, please contact me. He is currently in a foster home with a puppy who he is very nice
with but you can tell he would be happier with another dog that was less active and more mellow like him.
